You are receiving this message in Google earth because your current status network link is requesting an update too frequently. Typically this is because you have several copies of the same current status link within “My Places” in Google Earth.
To fix this:
- Log back into our product and download a new current status link.
- Delete the old copies of the network link within “My Places”
To prevent this again:
- Be careful to save only one copy of a current status link to your “My Places”
- Don’t choose “Yes” when asked to save the contents of “Temporary Places” when exiting Google Earth
- Limit your requests by changing the refresh interval to 60 seconds (or more) in the network link properties window.
- Limit the number of people who use the current status network link.
