Google Earth has ultra-realistic 3-D buildings in major cities now
Turn them on under Layers: 3D Buildings: 3D Warehouse

More History with the time slider turned on to only show a small timeframe:
A nice view of the strip from the Wynn, looking at Rio, Treasure Island, the Luxor & Mandalay Bay in the far South. You can see 2 vehicles’ current location and their recent 15 minute path in the distance.
3-D buildings make it easy to visualize the city and put recent and historical activity in context. Google and the community continue to add new 3D buildings continually.
