NOTE: After a new vehicle is registered, log out and then log back in to track the vehicle. Failure to log out and back in may make it seem like the vehicle just registered was done so incorrectly.

3400 and 3500 GPS units have 10-digit serial numbers beginning with 3400, 3401, or 3500.

Once logged in to an account, begin vehicle registration by switching to the ‘Classic View‘. Click ‘Switch to Classic View’ in the box at the top right of the screen.

Next click on ‘Vehicle Management’ in the menu on the left side of the screen. Then click on ‘Register Vehicle‘.

On the center of the page, choose and click on which type of registration is desired. Almost always, customers will want to choose ‘Register Vehicle Only‘.

Fill in the vehicle information to associate a vehicle with a particular GPS unit. The unit that is installed has a 10-digit, i.e. 340xxxxxxx”, ‘Serial Number’ that is entered near the bottom of this page. The highlighted fields are required and please see the notes and warnings to the right of the fields. When complete, click on the ‘Next Step’ button near the bottom of the page.

At this stage, one of three things will happen:

Either...

  • If the VIN was found as a valid number and the database fills in the year, make, and model of the vehicle then confirm the listed information and click ‘Confirm’ at the bottom of the page to finish registering the vehicle.

Or...

  • If the VIN was not recognized, fill in the highlighted fields, year, make, and model, and click ‘Confirm‘.

NOTE: A default year of 1996 appears automatically. Be sure to correct the year field instead of assuming that the website has recognized the vehicle as a 1996.

Or...

  • If the VIN was invalid, review the VIN as entered and try again.
