A Map Group is a group of dashlets that are linked to a specific Map. For example if the Map dashlet is grouped with the Location dashlet you can click on a vehicle in the Location dashlet and its location will appear in the linked Map. It’s useful when you have multiple vehicle groups that you track on multiple maps throughout the day.

Dashlets that can be added to a Map Group include: Map, Location, Alerts, Landmarks, Stop Locations, and Closest To.

Below is an example of how a Map Group works. In this example a Map Group is set to monitor the vehicle group called Trent:

Click on the vehicle named Trent and it will appear on the group Map.

How do I create a Map Group?

1. In the Dashboard View click the pencil icon at the top of each dashlet you’re including in the group.

2. Select the Vehicle Group. Select a Map Group. Choose the same Map Group letter to link the dashlets.

3. Click Apply.

4. Click Save current dashboard layout.
